SMGP Geothermal Power Station received a letter of thanks signed by the Director of Geothermal Division of the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Indonesia

This morning, PT SMGP, the geothermal project company invested by Kaishan Group in Mandailing Natal District, Sumatra, received a "Letter of Appreciation to PT SMGP" signed by Pak Harris, Director General of Geothermal Affairs of the General Directorate of Renewable and New Energy (EBTKE) of the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Indonesia, which expressed gratitude to SMGP's CDCR team for their tremendous efforts in the community development program in the Sorik Marapi-Roburan workspace. The community development programs and assistance implemented by SMGP demonstrate that the company is committed to providing benefits beyond the ongoing supply of electricity generated by geothermal development to the communities where SMGP operates.

Kaishan's core values are "people-oriented, customer first, technology drives the future". We have always put safety in mind and are committed to creating value for the local community while building a large-scale geothermal power plant in Sumatra, where there are many people and less land. The development of green energy itself is a great cause for the benefit of the society, and at the same time, the villagers in the development area can also experience other benefits, which truly reflects the corporate social responsibility, demonstrates the concept and outstanding ability of Kaishan in environmental, social and corporate governance, and EBTKE's thank you letter is a recognition of Kaishan's values.

The headquarters of Kaishan Group should also give praise and gratitude to the SMGP team, especially the CDCR team.
