On April 22, in Loxley, Baldwin County, Alabama, United States, the sun was shining and the wind was hunting. Kaishan Compressor USA held a ceremony to expand its plant. This is another milestone following the completion and commissioning ceremony of the plant on October 7, 2019. It marks that KCA is about to reach a higher new level.
Cao Kejian, Chairman of Mountain Holdings, and Keith Schumacher, CEO of KCA, delivered speeches at the ceremony. Mr. Cao pointed out that it only took about five years for KCA to grow into a major player in the North American compressor market, with a market share of about 9%, and is still expanding its market share and revenue scale. He expressed his heartfelt congratulations and thanks to the team for this achievement.
Officials from the location of the KCA plant also spoke, thanking KCA for providing high-quality jobs to the community and contributing to the local economy. They point out that due to KCA's excellent business performance, the average salary of KCA's employees has reached one and a half times the local average, and the locals no longer have to travel far to get paid well. Proud of KCA's achievements.
It is understood that the expansion of KCA will bring 90,000 square feet of new plant and 5,000 square feet of R&D center space to the factory. It mainly provides a site for expanding the manufacturing scale of dry oil-free screw air compressors. And because KCA has excellent profitability and cash flow, the $15 million construction fund is all self-raised.
